Merge PDF files into one
Join several PDFs into a single file, in your order. You can also move single pages around, leave some out, or mix pages from different files before saving. The files are put together on your device and are never uploaded.
How to do it
- Drop two or more PDFs on the page, or press «Add files».
- Set the order: drag the files, or sort them «By name» or «By date».
- If you want, tap pages to leave them out or drag them to a new place.
- Press «Merge PDFs», then «Save».
Good to know
- Scanned a stack in several batches? Name the files 1, 2, 3 and sort «By name»: numbers are put in real order, so 2 comes before 10.
- Turn on «Make a clickable list of files (bookmarks)» and the merged PDF gets a side panel entry for each original file, which makes a long combined document easy to move around in.
- A locked PDF asks for its password when you add it. Once it is open, it joins the others like any other file.
Questions
How do I combine PDF files into one for free?
Add the files, put them in order and press «Merge PDFs». There is no account to create, no limit on how many times you use it, and no watermark is added to the result.
Can I merge PDFs without uploading them?
Yes. The merging is done by your browser on your own device, so the files never leave it. Your original files are not changed either; you get one new PDF.
How do I merge PDFs on an iPhone or Android phone?
Open this page in Safari, Chrome or Samsung Internet, pick the PDFs from your files, and merge them the same way as on a computer. On an iPhone, choose «Save to Files» in the share sheet to keep the result.
